Family:  Husband, David; grown daughters, Bonnie and Cassi. Cassi is married to Drew and they have a daughter Hadley.  Bonnie is a Department Manager at Home Depot in Albany.
Community Service:  Stayton-Sublimity Chamber of Commerce,  Stayton Summerfest, Scio Library Committee and Scio FFA Alumni.
Hobbies/Leisure Time:  The farm, camping, fishing, gardening, FFA & 4-H, antiques, time with daughters & family.
Something People Might Be Surprised To Know About Me:  I still do chores at home on the farm. 
How People Would Describe Me:  Fun loving, straightforward, pragmatic.
My Most Embarrassing Moment:  The day I got my head stuck in the stair railing at my house. (good story)
My Favorite Childhood Memory:  Travelling with my Dad, who was in the Air Force.
My Most Prized Possession:  An antique platter that was a family heirloom from my mother-in-law and a heart button my daughters made.
Personal Heroes:  My dad, Charlton Heston, Margaret Thatcher and Jimmy Stewart.
What's An Unusual Thing about Me?:  I can scale a 12-foot fence.

  •  A native Virginian, recently remarried to Don Michaelof Sublimity.  With her marriage, Sandy inherited 8 grandbabies! Sandy enjoys time with her family, friends, travelling and is very active in her church.
  • Mother of two sons adopted from the Virginia Baptist Children's Home in Salem, Virginia.  Robbie lives in Richmond, Virginia and Burt was killed while in the Army, based in Italy.
  • Employed by NBC Television Affiliate for fifteen years as Human Resources Director and Credit and Collections Manager. 
  •  Favorite celebrity she met was Roy Rogers (which dates her a bit!)
  • Sandy enjoys biking and walking, reading, movies, home decorating, cooking and entertaining.
  • She's a definite "people person" and possesses a plethora of talents to put to work for you!
