Welcome To The Neighborhood!
As you research our community, we would like to share a few of our favorite spots for you to visit. Hopefully, they will become some of your favorites too!
Brenda, Mary and Leslie love to garden and spend much of their time off pulling a little cart through several local plant nurseries. We love to dig in the dirt and enjoy the delicious spoils of our harvests.
Godfrey Nursery Located off of Shaw Square Rd, Aumsville, it offers a nice variety of flower and vegetable plants and unique gift ideas.
Need a special place for lunch? If you are craving a cheesy quesadilla head over to Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant, where you can also pick up the best margarita in town. We highly recommend Moxieberry for a bowl of soup, sandwich or a great cup of coffee. The Gardner House never disappoints. Be sure to have a cup of tea and one of their outstanding freshly made salads and top it off with a mile-high slice of chocolate cake. For Dinner, the Wooden Nickel is an old standby. Good food, frosty libations, and smiling faces await. For a fun get together with friends, check out the daily drink specials at Cheers On First. Taco Tuesday's is a patron favorite! If Sushi is your thing you must stop at Mashita Teriyaki in downtown Stayton. Leslie's favorite is the Tsunami Roll.
For a delightful meal and conversation head East a few minutes to Mehama and visit Sharlene at Trexler Farm Cafe. Inspired meals served in a rustic building. Sharlene's smile and spirit are contagious! You leave feeling great and ready to take on the rest of your day. For a weekend treat, check out Sharlene's Cafe in Mill City on Hwy 22. She is open Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 2 pm for breakfast and lunch. You won't leave hungry or disappointed!
If Breadsticks make your mouth water, Panzanellie's Bread Stick Shoppe in Sublimity is the place for you... Can you say garlic? Pizza, salad, and dessert also grace the menu. Rico's Cafe in Ditter Square in Sublimity serves up tasty tacos. They also brew a variety of coffee drinks made to order. Is it time to get a Caramel Macchiato?
